An Example Pilgrimage Itinerary

Arrive into Dubrovnik airport in Croatia and be greeted by our Medjugorje guide or escort who will take you on a modern and comfortable coach to Medjugorje. Enjoy the ride learning a little about the happenings in Medjugorje, (which means between the hills), and the surrounding area and prepare your heart for the week ahead by praying the rosary together.

On arrival in Medjugorje you will be shown to your bedrooms and given time to rest before having some food and beginning the programme (depending on arrival time).

Throughout the week a continental breakfast will usually be served at 8 am or 9 am. Following breakfast we will walk to St James church for English Holy Mass at 10 am.

After English Holy Mass you will have free time to pray around the church grounds, explore more of Medjugorje, buy some religious gifts at the local shops or have a drink and some lunch.

During some of the afternoons your Medjugorje guide will arrange activities for the group to do together. These could include climbing apparition hill where Our Lady first appeared, praying the way of the cross up Mount Krizevac, (Cross Mountain), or praying the luminous mysteries behind the church, to name a few.

The evening programme at St James' church begins at 6 pm with the rosary, followed by 7 pm Holy Mass, followed by prayers for the sick. On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings there will be exposition of the Blessed Sacrament later on after Holy Mass and on Friday evenings, Veneration of the Cross.

On returning home you will be taken by your guide or escort by coach to the Dubrovnik airport and seen safely through check in.

On average, we run six pilgrimages a year but we also organise trips without group leaders.  Our pilgrimages run from Holy Week (Palm Sunday) through to October.
Below is our dates for trips in 2019.
